Research Topics

The studies in the Nano Devices Laboratory can be classified in four groups.

 

Nano Technology; fabrication and investigation of structural, electrical, optical and gas sensing properties of nano particles and nano crystals, , fabrication of nano wires and applications on transistors, electrochromic films with nano crystals.

Organic Based Semiconductor Devices; Organic and Hybrid Solar Cells, Organic Field Effect Transistors (OFET), Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED).

Inorganic Based Semiconductor Devices; Diodes, Inorganic Field Effect Transistors (FET), Investigation of structural, electrical and gas sensing properties of MS and MIS devices.

Sensors; Fabrication of Organic and Inorganic IDT (Interdigital Transducer) and QCM (Quartz Crystal Microbalance) Based Gas Sensors, Fabrication of MS, MIS and FET Based Sensors, Biosensors, Ion Sensors.

 

Additionally, investigation of electrical (ac, dc, and dielectric) and optical and gas sensing properties of organic molecules synthesized by chemistry department is underway.
